if you're a fan of great college basketball games, or love seeing some of your favorite musicians live in concert, this is your time of year. "March Madness" says it all. Who can remember more competitive and entertaining (or painful to some!) Men's AND Women's NCAA Tournaments? It's seems you're just as likely to see an 11 seed, like Dayton, knock off a 3 seed like Syracuse in the Men's tourney, or a 7 seed DePaul take down the 2 seeded Duke, in the Women's, as you are to see number one seeds like Florida, Arizona, Notre Dame, and UConn, prove they deserved the high expectations.On the concert side, we're just getting started with music fest season, as the EDM world focuses on the Ultra Music Festival going on right now in Miami. RedFest-Austin, May 23-25, brings together some of Country Music's biggest stars, along with some of the funniest comedians and reality TV personalities. Over the same Memorial Day Weekend, the population of Chillicothe, IL triples in size, as fans from all over come to the Summer Camp Music Festival , to see over 75 artists on 7 stages, covering a diverse range of genres. Put another way, if you like music outdoors, they'll have it.
Not to mention the plethora of artists and bands touring out on their own too. Cher, Billy Joel, Lady Gaga, George Strait, The Zac Brown Band, The Eagles, and of course, Jimmy Buffett, to name just a few. Rod Stewart and Santana are touring together on their "The Voice, The Guitar, The Songs" tour, which kicks off May 23, in Albany, NY. Lionel Richie and Cee Lo Green are also teaming-up on tour together, for the "All the Hits, All Night Long" tour, beginning May 29 in Vancouver, BC.
Those are just a few of the opportunities for everyone this Spring and Summer. There are a ton more music fests and music tours, and we didn't even mention the NBA and NHL Playoffs plus the start of the MLB and MLS regular seasons!
