A little over a month into the MLB season, the top 5 teams, ranked according to overall average attendance, have about the same combined record vs the bottom 5 teams. The Top 5 were 83 - 91 (48% wins) overall vs Bottom 5 record of 80 - 92 (47% wins). (ESPN data) It's still early. No team has yet been elimated from the playoffs. Interesting to note, 4 of the Top 5 are National League teams, while 4 of the Bottom 5 are in the American League, with the only NL team, Houston, re-locating to the AL next season.
