Flying Better Than First Class or Private Jets.

Just in case you were worried about how your favorite professional athlete fits into that same coach seat you were in for 4 hours, here's how they travel, from today's Wall Street Journal.  I knew I should have practiced my jump shot more as a kid.

Looking forward to the Summer of 2013 music schedule!

Jason Aldean, Kelly Clarkson, Jake Owen, and Thomas Rhett are continuing the trend of music concerts at some sport's most loved venues next summer.  Is it too early to think about The Summer of 2013 ?

Will lowering ticket prices put fans in the stands on the South Side too?

Good article by Bruce Levine at ESPN Chicago. The Chicago White Sox were in first place for much of the year, and were in the pennant race to the end.  However, even if with that, attendance was <2m, while the North-side, non-playoff-contending, Cubs drew over 2.8m fans.  I think there's more to it than just lowering ticket prices.  Sox need to find a competive market advantage, and work on improving the overall fan experience.  Contact me for ideas.

WSJ: The NFL's New Uniforms are Not a Big Hit with the Big Men.

The new, sleeker Nike uniforms are not making the real-big-men of the NFL feel very comfortable on the job.  Imagine going to work with your stomach hanging out the bottom of your buttoned-down dress shirt? Alex Boone, the 300-lb starting guard for the NFL San Francisco 49ers does that every Sunday, in front of thousands of fans at his work place and millions on TV.  Even his wife gets on him for it, "it looks like he ate a small baby."

Go see Alex and the other real-big-men live! Save time and money on your NFL tickets at Fricket! http://fricket.com/
